9. Recovery of excess payment
Where a person has received under this Act social aid to which he was not
entitled or which he was not qualified to receive, the amount of that social aid
may, notwithstanding the restriction imposed by section 5 of the Recovery of
State Debts Act, be recovered by the Permanent Secretary in the manner provided for the recovery of a small State debt under that Act.
