47. Sports Academies
(1) The Minister may, for the purposes of this Act, in collaboration with
National Sports Federations and such other person or organisation, whether
local or international, as he may determine, set up such sports academies as
he may consider necessary.
(2) A sports academy shall strive for excellence in a particular sport by
detecting, training and coaching young individuals having potential in a
particular sport in order to form elite athletes.
