2. Interpretation
In this Act—
“defence lands” means the land specified in the First Schedule;

State Lands Act
“land settlement land” means State land which the Minister, by notice
in the Gazette, declares to be land settlement land;
“Minister” means the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of
land use is assigned;
“State land” includes defence lands, Pas Géométriques and all lands
belonging to or in possession of the State.
