13A. Past service
In computing the length of service of an officer for the purpose of determining the amount of pension benefits payable, his past service, whether under
one or more contract of service and whether with one or more employer, that
employer being the Government of Mauritius, a local authority and a statutory
body shall be added where—
(a) his past service was not terminated for misconduct of any kind;
(b) he is not drawing a pension in respect of his past service;
(c) he has not been paid any severance allowance or compensation
in respect of his past service; and
(d) not more than 7 years have elapsed between the different periods
of service in respect of which his pension is to be calculated.
