13B. Renewable Sugar Cane Industry Based Biomass Framework
(1) The Mauritius Cane Industry Authority shall develop and monitor a
framework to be known as the Renewable Sugar Cane Industry Based
Biomass Framework to promote production of energy from biomass, including sugar cane, cane trash, high fibre cane, fuel canes, gramineae and other
related biomass, generated by the sugar cane industry.
(2) The Renewable Sugar Cane Industry Based Biomass Framework shall
include such items and such incentives as may be prescribed.
