32. Retirement on reaching 60 (1) On reaching the age of 60, a member may retire from his employer’s service and exercise his rights to a pension, gratuity or retirement gratuity, as the case may be. S51 – 11 [Issue 3] Sugar Industry Pension Fund Act (2) Where an employee reaches the age of 60, his employer may require him to retire from his service, and the employee shall receive the benefit of a pension, gratuity or retirement gratuity, as the case may be, under this Act. [S. 32 amended by s. 28 (f) of Act 20 of 2002 w.e.f. 10 August 2002.]
