35. Report of fire
(1) Not later than 10 days after a cane plantation has been damaged by
fire, the planter or métayer in whose name the cane plantation is registered
shall notify the Board of the fact by registered letter.

(2) The notification sent to the Board under subsection (1) shall set out—
(a) the date, time and place of the fire;
(b) the area of the cane plantation destroyed; and
(c) the category and variety of canes destroyed.
