3. Appointment of sworn weighers
(1) The Minister may, on the recommendation of the Director-General,
appoint such fit and proper persons to be sworn weighers as he thinks fit.
(2) Every person so appointed shall take an oath in the form specified in
the Schedule before the Master and Registrar, after which the Minister shall
issue a commission to that person.
(3) No person shall act as sworn weigher unless he holds a commission.
