Section 14: Regulations

14. Regulations (1) The Minister may, on the recommendation of the Commission— (a) make such regulations as he thinks fit for the purposes of this Act; (b) by regulations, amend the Schedule. [Issue 6] T7 – 8 Revised Laws of Mauritius (2) Regulations made under subsection (1) may— (a) provide for the levying of fees and taking of charges; (b) provide that any person who contravenes them shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 500,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.
