33. Keeping of records
(1) Every holder of a tourist enterprise licence shall keep in the course of
his business a true written record, whether on computer or otherwise, in the
English or French language, of every transaction he makes.
(2) Every record under subsection (1) shall be kept for a period of at
least 5 years after the completion of the transaction to which it relates.
(3) Any person who contravenes this section shall commit an offence and
shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine of not less than 1,000 rupees and not
exceeding 10,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6
months.
