38. Register of investigations (1) The Investigating Authority shall establish and maintain a register relating to each investigation or review made under this Act. (2) The Investigating Authority shall record in the register— (a) all public notices relating to the investigation or review; (b) all relevant materials, including questionnaires, responses to questionnaires, and written communications submitted to it; (c) all other information developed or obtained by the Investigating Authority, including any verification report prepared pursuant to section 50; and (d) any other documents which the Investigating Authority deems appropriate for public disclosure. (3) The register shall be available for consultation to the general public at the offices of the Investigating Authority at all times during the course of the investigation or review.
