47. Continuation of investigation (1) Notwithstanding the fact that an undertaking has been accepted, the Investigating Authority may— (a) upon the request of an exporter; or (b) where it thinks fit, complete the investigation. (2) Where the Investigating Authority makes a negative determination of dumping or subsidisation and injury, the undertaking shall automatically lapse except in cases where such a determination is due in large part to the existence of such undertaking. (3) Where a negative determination is due in large part to the existence of an undertaking, the Investigating Authority may require that such undertaking be maintained for a reasonable period of time to be determined by the Investigating Authority. (4) Where the Investigating Authority makes an affirmative determination of dumping or subsidisation and injury, the undertaking shall continue to be effective.
