61. Duration of inscriptions
(1) Subject to section 41, an inscription shall be valid for a period of
40 years from its date.
(2) (a) An inscription may be renewed within the period specified in subsection (1).
(b) The renewal of the inscription shall be made in the form set out
in the Third Schedule and shall have the same legal effect as an inscription.
(3) Subsections (1) and (2) shall apply to inscriptions made ex officio by
the Conservator.
