55. Failure or lapse of interest
Subject to the terms of the trust and to any order of the Court, where—
(a) an interest lapses;
(b) a trust terminates;
(c) there is no beneficiary and no person who can become a beneficiary in accordance with the terms of the trust; or
(d) property is vested in a person otherwise than for his sole benefit,
but the trust upon which he is to hold the property is not declared or communicated to him,
the interest or property concerned shall be held by the trustees in trust for
the settlor absolutely or, if he is dead, for his heirs and successors as if it
formed part of his estate at the time of his death.
