9. Duration of trust
(1) The duration of a trust other than a purpose trust shall not exceed 99
years from the date of its coming into existence, unless it is earlier terminated.
(2) Notwithstanding article 900-1 of the Code or any other enactment, a
purpose trust, whether charitable or not, may be of perpetual duration.
