7. Admission of students
(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Université des Mascareignes shall be
open to any person.
(2) Nothing in subsection (1) shall require the Université des Mascareignes to—
(a) admit to any course of study or research any person who does
not possess the prescribed academic qualification or standard;
(b) retain on its roll a student whose academic record is below the
minimum standard required for the award of a degree, diploma,
certificate or other academic distinction; or
(c) admit or retain any student whose conduct is prejudicial to its
interests, or the rights and privileges of other students or of the
staff of the Université des Mascareignes.
