3. Establishment of University of Technology
(1) There is established for the purposes of this Act the University of
Technology, Mauritius which shall—
(a) be a body corporate;
(b) have a common seal; and
(c) operate in accordance with this Act, the Statutes and the
regulations.
(2) The common seal referred to in subsection (1) (b) shall be—
(a) kept in such custody as the Board may direct and be used only
with the approval of the Board; and
(b) judicially noticed by every Court and, until the contrary is
proved, be presumed to have been duly affixed to any document.
