18. Waqf to be in perpetuity
(1) A dedication by way of waqf shall be in perpetuity.
(2) In cases where a waqf is not expressed, or does not purport, to be
limited in point of duration, it shall be presumed to be made in perpetuity,
and effect will be given to it accordingly.
