51. Conflict of interest
(1) Where, in the opinion of the Board, there exists a conflict of interest
between a person exercising the functions of mutawalli and the waqf managed or administered by him, the Board shall so notify that person by registered letter, for the receipt of which he shall sign an acknowledgment.
(2) As from the receipt of the registered letter, the person exercising the
functions of mutawalli shall cease to exercise those functions, and the Board
may appoint another person to fill the office of mutawalli in his place for
such time as in the opinion of the Board the conflict of interest subsists.
