3. The Board
(1) The War Memorial Board of Trustees shall be a body corporate.
(2) The objects of the Board shall be—
(a) to cause to be erected a War Memorial in the form of a building
which the Mauritius Red Cross Society shall use as their headquarters and in the central hall of which shall be kept a roll of
honour of the names of all Mauritians who gave their lives in the
1939 – 1945 war;
(b) to invest any money and use the interests yielded by the investment towards maintaining and staffing the headquarters of the
Mauritius Red Cross Society; and
(c) to further the aims of the Mauritius Red Cross Society.
