47. Regulations
(1) The Minister may make such regulations as he thinks fit for the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of the powers conferred by subsection (1), the regulations may provide for—
(a) the levying and collection of fees, charges, rates or other dues;
(b) the installation and use of meters;
(c) the connection of premises to the public sewer;
(d) the methods and standards of treatment of effluents;
(e) the control of the discharge of effluents containing toxic
elements;
(f) the method of disposal of effluents;
(g) the setting up of a trade effluent inspectorate to monitor the
disposal of effluents; and
(h) the setting up of discharge parameters.
