29. Jurisdiction Notwithstanding— (a) section 114 of the Courts Act; (b) section 72 of the District and Intermediate Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, a District Magistrate shall have power to hear, try and determine any charge brought under this Act and may impose any penalty provided under this Act.
