41. Returns as to compensation
(1) Every employer in any industry to which the President may direct that
this section shall apply, and every insurer who carries on the business of insuring employers in respect of any liability to a workman under this Act,
shall, on or before such day in every year as the President may direct, send
to the President a correct return specifying the number of injuries in respect
of which compensation has been paid by him under this Act during the previous year, and the amount of the compensation, together with such other
particulars as to the compensation as the President may direct.
(2) Any employer who fails to comply with this section shall commit an
offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding
100 rupees.
