5. Powersofauthorisedofficers
Notwithstandinganyotherenactment,anauthorisedofficermay,for
thepurposeofensuringcompliancewiththisAct–
(a) enteranyworkpremisesorofficeofanemployer;
(b) inspectanybookorrecordkeptbyanemployerinrelationto
hisemployees;
(c) request an employer to furnish him with any information or
documentwhichhemayrequire;
(d) prosecute a person who commits an offence under thisAct;
and
(e) enteranyactiononbehalfofanemployee.
