2. Killing of straying swine
(1) Notwithstanding any other enactment, swine found straying in any
street, public road or place, may be killed by any police officer or by any person authorised in writing by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry responsible for the subject of health.
(2) The carcases of the swine so destroyed shall be conveyed to the
nearest police station where they may be claimed by the owner within
6 hours.
(3) Where the carcases are not so claimed, they may be disposed of as
the sanitary authority may direct.
