18. Director of Society
(1) The Council shall, with the approval of the Minister, appoint a Director of the Society on such terms and conditions as it may determine.
(2) The Director shall —
(a) be responsible for the execution of the policy of the Council and
for the control and management of the day-to-day business of
the Society;
(b) act in accordance with such directives as he may receive from
the Council.
(3) The Director may, with the approval of the Council, delegate his
powers and functions to such officer as he may determine.
