63. Penalties
(1) Any person who commits an offence under this Act shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a) in the case of an offence under section 15, 22, 32, 50 (b) or 51,
to a fine not exceeding 2 million rupees and to penal servitude
for a term not exceeding 10 years; and
(b) in every other case, to a fine not exceeding 100,000 rupees and
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years.
(2) Sections 150, 151 and Part X of the Criminal Procedure Act, the
Community Service Order Act and the Probation of Offenders Act shall not
apply to a conviction for an offence specified in subsection (1) (a).
