17. Fees to land surveyors
(1) Subject to subsection (2), the fee payable to a land surveyor other
than a Government surveyor may be fixed by agreement between the land
surveyor and his client.
(2) The fee payable to a land surveyor shall—
(a) where the land surveyor is appointed by a Court; or
(b) in the absence of agreement with the client or in case of a dispute between him and the client,
be taxed by the Master and Registrar in accordance with such scale and in
such manner as may be prescribed.
