17. Jurisdiction
Notwithstanding—
(a) sections 113 and 114 of the Courts Act;
(b) section 72 of the District and Intermediate Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act,
the Intermediate Court shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under this
Act and may impose the penalties provided by section 16 and forfeiture or
other order under section 10.
