7. Follow-up action
Where an emergency protection order has been made in respect of
a child, the Permanent Secretary may at any time within a period of
12 months after the order has lapsed—
(a) summon any person and the child;
(b) enter the premises where the child is living,
for the purpose of ascertaining whether the child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm.
