67. Failure to transmit acknowledgments
Any notary or other public officer authorised by law to draw up a deed of
acknowledgment, shall, within 7 days of drawing up of the deed, transmit a
copy of the deed to the Registrar of Civil Status and if he fails to do so, he
shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 2,000 rupees.
