7. Officers not to act in certain cases
No officer shall register—
(a) any matter relating to his own civil status;
(b) the birth, death, marriage or a declaration relating to the civil
status of—
(i) his ascendant;
(ii) his descendant;
(iii) his brother or sister;
(iv) a person adopted by him or by whom he has been adopted.
