8. Term of office
(1) Every Commissioner shall, subject to subsections (2) and (3), hold office for a period of 5 years.
(2) A Commissioner may be re-appointed but shall not serve for more
than 2 consecutive terms.
(3) A Commissioner may resign from office at any time by giving not less
than one month’s written notice to the President.
