11. Certificate of registration (1) A certificate— (a) shall be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue; (b) may be renewed for any further period of 3 years. (2) An application for the renewal of a certificate shall be made— (a) not less than 30 days before the date of expiry of the certificate; (b) in the manner specified in section 10 (2). (3) Every certificate shall be— (a) kept by its holder on his trading premises; (b) produced on demand to an authorised officer; (c) valid only in respect of the warehouse specified in the certificate.
