66. Leave to plaintiff to proceed (1) After the time limited by an order made under section 63 or 65, the Court or Judge, on proof that the order has been complied with and that the defendant has not entered an appearance, may direct the plaintiff to proceed in the action in such manner and subject to such conditions as the Court or Judge thinks fit. (2) The plaintiff shall prove his case under subsection (1) in such manner as the Court shall direct, and the making of such proof shall be a condition precedent to the plaintiff obtaining judgment.
