166. Aiding prisoner to escape by violence
Where the escape has been effected or attempted by violence or breach
of prison, the punishment as regards those who have aided it by furnishing
any instrument calculated for effecting such escape, shall, where the party
escaping is of the description specified in section 164, be imprisonment, and
of that in section 165, be penal servitude for a term not exceeding 10 years.
