11. Absentees
(1) Where there is reason to believe that a person who is entitled to
property in Mauritius is not lawfully represented or has a legal representative
who is not empowered to exercise any right in relation to that property, he
shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to be an absentee.
(2) Where the Judge in Chambers has made an order under article 113
or 122 of the Code Civil Mauricien in respect of an absent person, the Curator shall not be vested with the property and rights of such absent person.
