Section 86: Goods lodged in customs warehouse

86. Goods lodged in customs warehouse The following goods shall be deposited in the customs warehouse— (a) abandoned goods, other than goods under the control of the Mauritius Ports Authority; (b) seized goods pending investigation, the decision of the DirectorGeneral or the decision of the Court; (c) goods forfeited by the Director-General’s decision in a compounding or the Court’s decision, until the disposal of such goods; (d) passengers’ dutiable goods pending payment of duty, excise duty and taxes or pending reshipment; and (e) such other goods as the Director-General may authorise.
