87. Rent to be charged
Where any goods are deposited in the customs warehouse or other place
of deposit approved by the Director-General for the security of the duty, excise duty and taxes thereon, or until regulations relating to the import have
been complied with, the Director-General may charge, demand and receive
warehouse rent for such period as such goods remain therein and at such
rates and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed.
