21B. Jurisdiction
(1) Where a claim is for an amount of more than 25,000 rupees, a claimant may abandon the excess, and the Court shall have jurisdiction to hear
and determine the claim.
(2) No claim under Part IIA shall be brought before a Court—
(a) where proceedings relating to the subject-matter of that claim
have been already determined by that Court or any other Court;
(b) where at the commencement of this Act proceedings in relation
to a claim are pending before that Court or any other Court;
(c) after the expiration of one year from the date on which the
cause of action arose.
