8. DNA sample to establish filiation
Notwithstanding any of the provisions of this Act, a forensic analysis for
the purpose of ascertaining filiation under the Code Civil Mauricien may be
carried out by the FSL—
(a) where there is an order from a Judge to that effect or the relevant parties consent to provide the DNA sample; and
(b) on payment of such fees as may be prescribed.
