9. Permit may be revoked by Board
(1) Where an undertaker is granted a permit to supply electricity within a
certain area and the Minister’s approval is obtained, the undertaker shall,
within 12 months of the approval, begin the supply of energy within that
area.
(2) Where an undertaker fails to begin the supply of energy within the
period specified in subsection (1) or fails to comply with any directions and
orders provided for in the permit or any other directions or orders given by
the Board, the Board may, with the approval of the Minister, revoke the permit to the undertaker to supply energy to such area, or may take such other
steps as he may determine.
