Section 21: Application of funds

21. Application of funds (1) Every trade union shall apply its funds for purposes consistent with its rules. (2) Where, under the rules of a trade union, provision is made for any special fund, the rules applicable to that special fund— (a) shall specify, inter alia, the expenses and benefits which may be paid out of that fund; (b) shall not be altered except by a resolution approved by a majority of the members present and voting at a general assembly.
