26. Penalties
Any person who—
(a) contravenes this Act;
(b) fails to comply with the conditions of any licence or permit issued under this Act; or

(c) fails to obey any lawful order issued, or supply any return or
information requested by the Commissioner, Director-General,
Port Master or a police officer under this Act,
shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not
exceeding 2,000 rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one
year, and any explosive in respect of which any offence has been committed
may be forfeited.
