17. Offences committed at sea or in the air
Where the offence in respect of which the surrender of an offender is
sought was committed on board any vessel on the high seas or any aircraft
while in the air outside Mauritius, or the territorial waters of Mauritius, which
comes into any port or airport of Mauritius, the Minister, the AttorneyGeneral or any Magistrate may exercise the powers conferred by this Act.
