19W. Offences relating to proceeding of Review Panel
Any person who, without reasonable cause –
(a) fails to attend the Review Panel after having
been summoned to do so under section 19U;
(b) knowingly gives false evidence, or evidence
which he knows to be misleading, before the
Review Panel; or
(c) at any hearing of the Review Panel –
(i) wilfully insults a member;
(ii) wilfully interrupts or disturbs the
proceedings,
shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to
a fine not exceeding 100,000 rupees and to imprisonment for
a term not exceeding 3 years.
