24. Illegal import of fish
No person shall, within Mauritius or the maritime zones—
(a) on his own account, or as partner, agent or employee of another
person, land, import, export, transport, sell, receive, acquire or
purchase; or
(b) cause or permit a person acting on his behalf to land, import,
export, transport, sell, receive, acquire or purchase, any fish
taken, possessed, transported or sold contrary to the law of one
or more States with which Mauritius has entered into an agreement on a reciprocal or multilateral basis for the management of
fisheries.
