73. Jurisdiction
(1) Notwithstanding section 114 of the Courts Act and section 72 of the
District and Intermediate Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, a Magistrate—
(a) shall have jurisdiction to try an offence under section 70 (a), (b),
(d), (e), (f) and (h) and regulations made under this Act; and
(b) may impose any penalty provided under those sections and regulations.
(2) The Intermediate Court shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under
this Act and impose any penalty provided therefor.
