187. Notice of appointment of receiver
(1) A receiver shall, within 7 days after being appointed—
(a) give written notice of his appointment to the chargor;
(b) give public notice of his appointment, including—
(i) the receiver’s full name;
(ii) the date and time of the appointment;
(iii) the receiver’s office address; and
(iv) a brief description of the property in receivership; and
(c) send a copy of the notice to the Registrar of Companies and the
Director.
(2) Where the appointment of the receiver is in addition to that of a receiver who already holds office or is in place of a person who has vacated
office as receiver, every notice under this section shall state that fact.
