193. Execution of documents(cid:3)
(1) A receiver may execute in the name and on behalf of the company
every document necessary or incidental to the exercise of the receiver’s
powers.(cid:3)
(2) A document signed on behalf of a company by a receiver shall be
deemed to have been properly signed on behalf of the company for the
purpose of section 181 of the Companies Act.(cid:3)
(3) Notwithstanding any other enactment, or the constitution of a
company that is a chargor, where the instrument under which a receiver is
appointed empowers him to execute a document, the receiver may execute
the document in the name and on behalf of the company.
